Horse & Pony Regulations / Health Declaration Please note that by making entries into the Lincolnshire Horse & Pony Show you are declaring: · that the animals described in the entries are free from clinical signs of disease. You further declare that you will take all due precautions to prevent the animal(s) from being exposed to infectious or contagious disease previous to the Show. · that you have read, understand and undertake to abide by the REGULATIONS & INFORMATION and the Conditions specific to all classes entered, as published in the Prize Schedule. Cancellation Statement There may be circumstances where the show has to be postponed, cancelled, abandoned or curtailed as a result of circumstances beyond the control of the Society, for example as a result of a security alert or as a result of inclement weather making it impractical to hold the Show. In such circumstances once any administration fees have been deducted, entry fees will be refunded, but the HOYS contribution is non-refundable. The Society will have no liability for loss or damage suffered by exhibitors or others. Equine Notes Farrier During the Show, the Farrier on call will be: Scott Sykes, available on 07595 323307 Wristbands Admission onto the Showground from the Horsebox Park will only be allowed for people wearing wristbands only (inc. riders & their associates). Please Note, for June 2021: Full details of all people at Show will be requested by email for mid-day, Monday 21st June, (Track & Trace requirement tbc) Please Note: · For this year no Wristband sales at the Gate on Show days. · Additional Wristband (£6) sales must be made pre-Show, thank you. Stables Permanent stables available on a first booking system, first served. For June 2021: · No Temporary stables will be available on the Showground. · Wednesday stables must be cleared out after use. · Exhibitors are advised to bring their own straw/bedding. (No straw sales on the Showground in June 2021) 2022 Prize Schedule Equine Prize Schedules will be emailed to all 2021 exhibitors (with email addresses). The Equine Prize Schedule will be available to view on the Lincolnshire Show website in Spring 2022. Veterinary Team All equine health & welfare concerns are with the Veterinary Team, available on call. The Veterinary emergency contact number is displayed in the Equine Awards Office and with the Stable Foreman. Administration Fee Online Entries are subject to a £2 administration fee Class Entry Fees These are stated at the top of each Section HOYS Classes £47/entry (These include the HOYS Contribution of £15) ONLINE Entries are expected for all entries this year, thank you PRIZE MONEY: 1st, £25 For June 2021, Payment for 1st place only in all classes 2021 Animal Health NOTE: The Primary Equine Influenza and Tetanus vaccinations are a compulsory requirement for all equines attending the Lincolnshire Horse & Pony Show. 'If sufficient time has elapsed' after the Primary two vaccinations, these should be followed by their six month and yearly vaccinations. No equines should enter competitions within 7 days of an EI vaccination. (This Rule may be subject to change from guidance from the FEI/BEF. The requirement for the first 3 vaccinations is as follows: the first 2 vaccinations 21 - 92 days apart, a third booster between 150-215 days, and an annual booster vaccination within 365 days thereafter. No horse should enter competitions within 7 days of an EI vaccination. Foals should commence vaccinations at 6 months old.) |
