THE BRITISH GOAT SOCIETY Gibshiel, Tarset, Hexham Northumberland NE48 1RR 'The Goat classes / Milking Competitions are held under the Rules, Regulations and Recognition of the British Goat Society. All exhibits must be registered with the British Goat Society as in the ownership and in the name of the exhibitor, the registered name and number being quoted on the entry form. (Also the kidding date for goats in milk.) All goats in milk must be kidded or aborted a minimum of 30 days previous to the date of Show. ' The British Goat Society offers: ROSETTE for the Best Goat in the Show CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE for the Best Goat that has borne a kid. CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE for the Best Inspection/Production Goat. BREED CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE for the Best Goat that has borne a kid of each of the following breeds: Anglo Nubian, Saanen, Toggenburg, British-Alpine, British-Guernsey, British-Saanen, British-Toggenburg and Golden Guernsey. A CERTIFICATE of MERIT for the Best British Milker that has borne a kid SPECIAL AWARD SPECIAL AWARD The Trophy awarded for this year is 'The Springfield Lealty' trophy for the Best Saanen goat or goatling, bred by the exhibitor. |
