Best Pig: The sum of £25 with a BPA Rosette and a BPA Glass Trophy Reserve Pig: £15 and a BPA Rosette The final of the Pig of the Year competition will take place at the Great Yorkshire Show on Wednesday 11th July 2018. The winning pigs from the 12 County Shows will compete for prizes as follows:- Male Champion Prize: £60, with £30 to the Reserve Female Champion Prize: £60, with £30 to the Reserve Overall Champion Prize: £200 and the Geoffrey Cloke Memorial Challenge Salver, and £150 to the Reserve Note: Rosettes only will be presented at each Qualifying round (and the FINAL). Prize monies and glass trophies for Qualifying rounds (and salver for the FINAL) will be presented at the FINAL at the Great Yorkshire Show. A travel allowance of 10 pence per mile will be paid to exhibitors attending the Final. |
