Please state HOYS ID numbers and BSHA Registration numbers for Owners, Riders and Horses on your Entry Form. (For Horse of the Year Show ID numbers please contact Grandstand Media on 024 7685 8205) 2. The Society is affiliated to and class 40 will be judged under the 2022 British Show Horse Association rules. In Horse of the Year Show qualifiers, Horse of the Year Show rules take precedence. A copy of the Horse of the Year Show rulebook can be downloaded from www.hoys.co.uk. This is a Horse of the Year Show Qualifier, all data given upon entry of this class is provided to Grandstand Media Limited and stored on the Grandstand Entries System. For full policy details please visit www.grandstandentries.com. 3. Open to all horses registered with BSHA. 4. BSHA require ALL Owners, Producers and Riders in this class to be members of the British Show Horse Association (BSHA), and all horses must be registered with BSHA. 5. Judges may be asked to restrict riding to those entries selected for final consideration, having due regard to the judging time available. 6. In accordance with the rules of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, all competitors must wear a skull cap or hat and safety harness according to the correct approved BSI or European Standard at all times. Any competitor not adhering to this will be asked to leave the ring/class. Qualifiers: a) Horse of the Year Show Qualifier 2022. Held under the rules of the British Show Horse Association. However, Horse of the Year Show rules take precedence. Horses must be registered with the Association and all Owners, Producers and Riders must be Association Members. Riders must be 15 years of age or older. Registration numbers must be quoted on entry form. Qualifier for Horse of the Year Show, NEC, Birmingham, 5 - 9 October, 2022. In Class 40, the first prize winner will qualify to compete at the final. If already qualified the second will qualify, if the first and second are already qualified then the third will go forward and so forth to 5th place. Qualification will not pass below 5th place, with the exception of the BSHA National Championship Show. Qualification will be verified by the Horse of the Year Show Office. Horses competing at the Horse of the Year Show and qualifying shows in The Hunter sections of The Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain classes at their Affiliated Shows cannot compete in Hack, Cobs and Riding Horse classes at the same show, on the same day and vice versa. This does not apply to SHB (GB) Ridden Sport Horse classes. b) The 1st or highest placed prize winners in each Open Affiliated class will qualify to compete in the BSHA Classic of the Year Final. The Finals will be held at the BSHA Hunter & National Championship Shows in September 2022. c) In Class 40, up to three SSA rosettes are available for the highest placed SSA Members carrying their current Championship Points Card.
