LADIES SIDE SADDLE (Horse of the Year Show Qualifier)
Ladies Side Saddle Horse of the Year Show Qualifier Judges: Conformation:Miss B Ensten IPSWICH Ride : Mrs H Allin WILFORD Conditions: 1. Please state HOYS ID numbers and BSHA Registration numbers for Owners, Riders and Horses on your Entry Form. (For HOYS ID numbers please contact Grandstand Media on 02476 858205). 2. The Society is affiliated to and class 29 will be judged under the 2017 British Show Horse Association rules. In Horse of the Year Show qualifiers, Horse of the Year Show rules take precedence. A copy of the Horse of the Year Show rulebook can be downloaded from www.hoys.co.uk. 3. Open to all horses registered with BSHA. 4. BSHA require ALL Owners, Exhibitors and Riders in these Classes to be members of the British Show Horse Association (BSHA), and all horses must be registered with BSHA. 5. Judges may be asked to restrict riding to those entries selected for final consideration, having due regard to the judging time available. 6. In accordance with the rules of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, all competitors must wear a skull cap or hat and safety harness according to the correct approved BSI or European Standard at all times. Any competitor not adhering to this will be asked to leave the ring/class. Qualifiers: a) Horse of the Year Show Qualifier 2017. Held under the rules of the British Show Horse Association. However, Horse of the Year Show rules take precedence. Horses must be registered with the Association and all Owners, Exhibitors and Riders must be Association Members. Riders must be 15 years of age or older. Registration numbers must be quoted on entry form. In Class 29 the first prize winner will qualify to compete at the final. If already qualified the second will qualify, if the first and second are already qualified then the third will go forward and so forth to 5th place. No horse lower than fifth will qualify. Qualification will be verified by the Horse of the Year Show Office. b) The Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) will award Special Incentive Cards to the highest placed Irish Draught Pure Bred or Irish Draught Sport Horse in classes 29. To be eligible, exhibits must be registered with or overstamped by the IDHS (GB) on their Irish Draught Breed Registers or Irish Draught Sport Horse Registers. Registration numbers to be stated on the entry form. c) In Class 29, up to three S.S.A. rosettes are available for the highest placed S.S.A. Members carrying their current Championship Points Card.
