| HACKS Horse of the Year Show Qualifiers Judges: Ride: Miss S Turner STOWMARKET Conformation: Miss M Traves YORK Conditions: 1. Please state HOYS ID numbers and BSHA Registration numbers for Owners, Riders and Horses on your Entry Form. (For HOYS ID numbers please contact Grandstand Media on 01582 711411). 2. Held under the rules of the British Show Horse Association, however in Horse of the Year Show Qualifiers Horse of the Year Show rules will take precedence. Horses must be registered with the Association and all Owners, Exhibitors and Riders must be Association Members. Riders must be 15 years of age or older. Registration numbers must be quoted on the Entry Form. 3. Horses competing at the Horse of the Year Show and qualifying shows in The Hunter sections of The Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain classes at their Affiliated Shows cannot compete in Hack, Cobs and Riding Horse classes at the same show, on the same day and vice versa. This does not apply to SHB (GB) Ridden Sport Horse classes. Qualifiers: a) Classes 51 and 52 are qualifiers for Horse of the Year Show, 4th - 8th October 2017. The first prize winner will qualify to compete at the final. If already qualified the second will qualify, if the first and second are already qualified then the third will go forward and so forth to fifth place. Qualification will be verified by the Horse of the Year Show Office. In accordance with BSHA rules the annual BSHA Horse of the Year Show fee of £15 must have been paid to BSHA before the entry is made if the Exhibitor wishes to qualify. The BSHA Horse of the Year Show fee cannot be paid in retrospect. This fee is not the Horse of the Year Show contribution, which goes to Grandstand Media Ltd. b) The three highest placed prize winners in all Open Affiliated classes will qualify to compete in the BSHA Classic Supreme Classes at the National Championship Show 2017. c) The BSHA offer a Novice, Young Rider and Amateur rosette in each Open class and a Champion rosette for this section (with the exception of Open Working Show Horse, Ladies Show Horse & HOYS Hunter classes). d) The 'Colosso Family' Supreme Ridden Show Horse Championship. The final to be held at the North of England Summer Horse Show on 1st July 2017 kindly sponsored by Kim and Adrian Colosso (Prize Money at the FINAL 1st £1000, 2nd £400, 3rd £100, 4th £50, 5th £25, 6th £25, 7th £25, 8th £25, Sashes to the Champion & Reserve, Rosettes to all other prize winners and finalists). The Hack Champion from C53 will qualify. If the Champion has already qualified then the Reserve Champion will go forward. Only the Champion or Reserve Champion will Qualify. Exhibitors who qualify for the final will be sent details directly from: The Secretary, North of England Summer Horse Show, Blue Slate Stables, Showley Road, Clayton-le-Dale, Blackburn, Lancs, BB1 9DP www.northofenglandshows.co.uk e) TSR Riders Championships - classes 51 and 52 are qualifiers for the 2017 TSR Riders Regional Finals. Qualify and enter ANYof the Regional Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, Wales & South West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter the final. The Rider Qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals. 1st & 2nd Riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring. f) P(UK) Qualification for the BSPA Finals 2017 and Winter Classic 2018 (Ponies U.K. affiliation number 017/A17/8014) 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed ponies from classes 51 and 52 will qualify for the P(UK) Blythe Spirit Ridden Hack Championship. Qualification Tickets will be awarded in the ring. Competitors in qualifying positions ARE NOT required to become a member in order to compete in the P(UK) Championship Finals.
