Conditions:
Classes 139 to C141 will be judged under the Rules of Horse of the Year Show.

1. Horse of the Year Show Colne Mountain & Moorland Lead Rein Pony of the Year Qualifier 2016
Class 139 is a qualifier for the Colne Mountain & Moorland Lead Rein Pony of the Year, N.E.C., Birmingham, Wednesday 5th - Sunday 9th October 2016. This class is open to Mountain and Moorland Mares and Geldings four years old and over registered in the main body of their respective Stud Books. Ponies not to exceed 122cm (12.0hh) however ponies must not exceed the height limits as stipulated by the relevant breed societies. Riders must have attained their 3rd birthday by the day of competition, but must not have attained their 9th birthday before the 1st January in the current year. The highest placed pony not already qualified from the first three will qualify to compete at Horse of the Year Show 2016. Riders and Owners must be members of their respective Breed Society, NPS, Ponies (UK), The Showing Register or BSPS.

2. Horse of the Year Show Brineton/Kare-Plus Mountain & Moorland First Ridden Pony of the Year Qualifier 2016
Class 140 is a qualifier for the Brineton/Kare-Plus Mountain & Moorland First Ridden Pony of the Year, N.E.C., Birmingham, Wednesday 5th - Sunday 9th October 2016. This class is open to Mountain and Moorland Mares and Geldings four years old and over registered in the main body of their respective Stud Books. Ponies not to exceed 128cm (12.2hh) however ponies must not exceed the height limits as stipulated by the relevant breed societies. Riders must have attained their 3rd by the day of competition and not have attained their 12th birthday before the 1st January in the current year. The highest placed pony not already qualified from the first three will qualify to compete at Horse of the Year Show 2016. Riders and Owners must be members of their respective Breed Society, NPS, Ponies (UK), The Showing Register, or BSPS.

3. Class 139 and 140 to be run under the rules of the Horse of the Year Show. Copies can be obtained from www.hoys.co.uk
Judges may only judge one qualifying competition in the current year. Marks to be awarded 50/50. In the event of equality, the pony with the highest Show/Freedom of Action mark will be deemed the winner. Qualification will be verified by the Horse of the Year Show Office.

4. A Special Rosette will be awarded to the highest placed Member
from B.S.P.S. Area 4b in ALL Classes - Eligible competitors must wear a GREEN armband.

Qualifiers:
a) Horse of the Year Show 2016. Classes 139 and 140 are qualifiers for Horse of the Year Show 2016, NEC Birmingham Wednesday 5th - Sunday 9th October. From each class, the highest place pony not already qualified from the first three will qualify to compete at the Horse of the Year Show.
N.B. - Ponies that qualify for this Championship at Horse of the Year Show 2016 must hold a valid JMB Full Height or Annual Certificate, a copy of which must be enclosed at the time of entry to Horse of the Year Show. JMB Certificates are not required to enter this Qualifier.

b) P(UK) Qualification for the Supreme Championships 2016, BSPA Finals 2016 and Winter Classic 2017 (Ponies U.K. affiliation number 16/A16/7821)
From class 139, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd will qualify for the Lobster
Pot M&M Lead Rein Championship. Qualification Tickets will be awarded in the ring. Competitors in qualifying positions ARE NOT required to become a member in order to compete in the P(UK) Championship Finals.

c) P(UK) Qualification for the Supreme Championships 2016, BSPA Finals 2016 and Winter Classic 2017 (Ponies U.K. affiliation number 16/A16/7821)
From class 140, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd will qualify for the Brineton
M&M First Ridden Championship. Qualification Tickets will be awarded in the ring. Competitors in qualifying positions ARE NOT required to become a member in order to compete in the P(UK) Championship Finals.

d) TSR Riders Championships - classes 139 and 140 are qualifiers for the 2016 TSR Riders Regional Finals. Qualify and enter ANYof the Regional Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, Wales & South West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter the final. The Rider Qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals. 1st & 2nd Riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.

e) This is a WPCS performance sire rating show.
f) NPS Summer Championship - From class 139, the highest placed pony, owned by an NPS member, goes forward to the NPS M&M Leading Rein National Championship final, on 2-4th August 2016. Where this pony has already qualified the pony standing next in line, which is owned by an NPS member and has not already qualified, receives the qualification. Qualification goes no lower than third place.
g) NPS Summer Championship - From class 140, the highest placed pony, owned by an NPS member, goes forward to the NPS M&M First Ridden National Championship final, on 2-4th August 2016. Where this pony has already qualified the pony standing next in line, which is owned by an NPS member and has not already qualified, receives the qualification. Qualification goes no lower than third place.
