YOUNG DAIRY HEIFER HANDLING COMPETITION Judge: Mrs A Stable Ulverston To be judged on Thursday 23rd June, after the Maiden Heifer Classes, both Holstein and Jersey Cattle to come forward. Conditions: 1. Only Heifers (can be maiden or in calf) under 30 months of age to be used in this class. Please note that the animal should match the size of the Handler. 2. In these classes it is the handler that is judged and not the animal. Normal showing attire must be worn during judging. 3. No rosettes to be displayed in the ring. 4. Owners of the cattle must ensure that the young person is capable of controlling the animal being shown. 5. The judge has the authority to ask any exhibitor not having sufficient control of his/her animal to leave the ring. 6.Classes will be split at the stewards discretion depending on ages forward on the day. No Entry Fee, entries to be made on Show Days. Prizes: 1st £15, 2nd £10, 3rd £5. Rosettes to 6th place. CLASS DESCRIPTION
