COBS Horse of the Year Show Qualifiers Judge: Class 66 Riding: Mr D Bartram RODE HEATH Conformation: Miss L Russell GUILDFORD Class 67-C69 Riding: Miss L Russell GUILDFORD Conformation: Mr D Bartram RODE HEATH Conditions: 1. Held under the rules of the British Show Horse Association. Horses must be registered with the Association and all Owners, Exhibitors and Riders must be Association members. Riders must be 15 years of age or older. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied by the Registration Numbers. 2. Horses competing in the Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain classes at their Affiliated Shows cannot compete in BSHA Cob classes at the same show. This does not apply to SHB (GB) Ridden Sport Horse classes. Qualifiers: a)Classes 66, 67 and 68 are qualifiers for Horse of the Year Show, 7th - 11th October 2015. The first prize winner will qualify to compete at the final. If already qualified the second will qualify, if the first and second are already qualified then the third will go forward and so forth to fifth place. Qualficiation will be verified by the Horse of the Year Show office. In accordance with BSHA rules the annual BSHA Horse of the Year Show fee of £15 must have been paid to BSHA before the entry is made if the Exhibitor wishes to qualify. The BSHA Horse of the Year Show fee cannot be paid in retrospect. This fee is not the Horse of the Year Show contribution, which goes to Grandstand Media Ltd. b) The three highest placed prize winners in all Open affiliated classes will qualify to compete in the BSHA Classic Supreme Classes at the National Championship Show 2015. c) The BSHA offer a Novice, Young Rider and Amateur rosette in each Open class and a Champion rosette for each section (with the exception of Open Working Show Horse & HOYS Hunter classes). Virbac Ltd, manufacturers of leading wormers Equimax and Eraquell, are committed to supporting horse owners through the innovative 3D Worming concept, will issue the HOYS qualified Cob in each class with a qualification rosette and card. This will not be presented in the Ring but will be forwarded by post. Confirmation of qualification for HOYS will come as a separate letter by post. More information can be obtained from www.3dworming.co.uk d) This Show is a Qualifier for THE BLUE CHIP & IRISH DRAUGHT HORSE SOCIETY (GB) £2,000 CHALLENGE. The highest placed horse (not already qualified) from each of the following classes 66, 67 and 68 that is registered or eligible for registration on the Irish Draught or Irish Draught Sport Horse Registers, i.e. with a minimum of 25% proven Irish Draught breeding, will qualify for the Final of the Blue Chip & IDHS (GB) Challenge. Horses need not be registered with the Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) to qualify, but MUST be on the IDHS (GB) registers by the time of the Championship which will be held at the IDHS (GB) Annual Breed Show on 12th & 13th September 2015 at the Lincolnshire Showground, Grange-de-Lings, Lincoln LN2 2NA. NB: A horse may only qualify for the Final once, regardless of the type or number of classes won, placed in or entered. Each Qualifier will receive a card and a £10 voucher from Blue Chip. Qualifiers are required to complete an online form at www.idhsgb.com to inform the IDHS (GB) that they have qualified for the Final. Following submission of the online form, a qualifier's pack will be sent out direct to the qualifier. In the Final, the Champion will be awarded £1,000 prize money, a Trophy and a Blue Chip rug. The Reserve Champion will be awarded £500 and 3rd to 7th will be awarded £100 each. In addition, the highest placed Pure Bred will be awarded a Trophy and £100 and the highest placed 158cm (15.2hh) and under will receive a Trophy and £50. e) The Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) will award Special Incentive Cards to the highest placed Irish Draught Pure Bred or Irish Draught Sport Horse in classes 66, 67 and 68. To be eligible, exhibits must be registered with or overstamped by the IDHS (GB) on their Irish Draught Breed Registers or Irish Draught Sport Horse Registers. Registration numbers to be stated on the entry form. f) TSR Riders Championships - classes 66, 67 and 68 are a qualifiers for the 2015 TSR Riders Regional Championships. Riders can choose which Regional final they go to - Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, Wales and south West or Scottish. 1st & 2nd Riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring. g) P(UK) Qualification for the Winter Classic 2015, Supreme Championships 2015 and Equifest 2015 (Ponies U.K. affiliation number 015/W15/7319) 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed ponies from classes 66, 67 and 68 will qualify for the P(UK) Kempley Ridden Cob Winter Classic 2015 & Supreme Championship 2015. Qualification Tickets will be awarded in the ring, placing's will be confirmed by results sent in by the show secretary. Competitors in qualifying positions, who are not current members of P(UK) must become a Annual Adult Member before time of entry. h) Nupafeed / Equifest Riding Horses and The Hood Show Team / Equifest Maxo Cobs - The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified in classes 66, 67 and 68 will qualify for the Equifest Championships to be held at the East of England Showground on the 12th - 16th August 2015.
