Horse of the Year Show Science Supplements Mountain & Moorland Working Hunter Pony Championship Qualifier 2015 The following class is a qualifier for the Science Supplements Mountain & Moorland Working Hunter Pony of the Year Championship, N.E.C., Birmingham, Wednesday 7th - Sunday 11th October 2015. This class is open to Mountain and Moorland stallions, mares and geldings, four years old and over, to be registered in the main body of their respective stud books. Ponies must be within the correct height stipulations for their height section however ponies must not exceed the height limits as stipulated by the relevant breed societies. These classes will be run in accordance with the general rules as set out in this rule book. The highest placed pony not already qualified from the first three will qualify to compete at Horse of the Year Show 2015. Riders and Owners must be members of their respective Breed Society, NPS, Ponies (UK), The Showing Register or BSPS. To be run under the rules of the Horse of the Year Show. Copies can be obtained from www.hoys.co.uk Judges may only judge one qualifying competition in the current year. Marks to be awarded 50/50. In the event of equality the total mark from the Jumping Phase will take precedence, followed by the Individual Show & Manners Mark, and then the Breed Type & Conformation Mark. Qualification will be verified by the Horse of the Year Show Office. Jumping Course Guidelines Mountain & Moorland Working Hunter ponies must jump a 12 fence track. Please note the fence height guidelines shown below which must be enforced for each section. JMB certificates are not required to enter this qualifier. 2. ON THE DAY, declarations to be made to the Bishop Burton College Ring Steward, 45 minutes before the Class and ponies to jump in catalogue order. Qualifiers: a) Horse of the Year Show Qualifier 2015 - Classes 152, 153, 154 and 155 are qualifiers for Horse of the Year Show, to be held from Wednesday 7th - Sunday 11th October 2015 at the NEC Birmingham. The highest placed horse/pony (not already qualified) from the first three in each class will qualify. Qualification will be verified by the Horse of the Year Show office. N.B. Ponies that qualify for this Championship at Horse of the Year Show 2015 must hold a valid JMB Full Height or Annual Certificate, a copy of which must be enclosed at the time of entry to Horse of the Year Show. JMB certificates are not required to enter this qualifier." Classes 152-155 will qualify for the final at NPS Summer Championships 2015, 4th-6th August 2015, at Three Counties Showground Malvern. Owner's membership cards must be shown in the ring to receive the qualification. c) P(UK) Qualification for the Winter Classic 2016, Supreme Championships 2015 and Equifest 2015 (Ponies U.K. affiliation number 015/W15/7319) 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed ponies from classes 152, 153, 154 and 155 will qualify for the P(UK) Shearwater M&M WHP of the Year Winter Classic 2016 & Supreme Championship 2015. Qualification Tickets will be awarded in the ring and placing's will be confirmed by results sent in by the show secretary. Competitors in qualifying positions, who are not current members of P(UK) must become a Annual Adult Member before time of entry. d) TSR Riders Championships - classes 152, 153, 154 and 155 are a qualifiers for the 2015 TSR Riders Regional Championships. Riders can choose which Regional final they go to - Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, Wales and south West or Scottish. 1st & 2nd Riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring. e) This is a WPCS performance sire rating show. ENTRY FEES LAS Members Non-Members £35 £41 (These fees include a £11 Horse of the Year Show contribution).
