Conditions:
The following classes are qualifiers for the NPS/Baileys Horse Feeds Mountain & Moorland Ridden Pony of the Year Championship, N.E.C., Birmingham, Wednesday 7th - Sunday 11th October. This competition is open to stallions, mares and geldings, four years old and over, to be registered in the main body of their respective stud books. Partbreds and mares with a living foal born during the current season are not eligible to compete.

Riders can be of any age with the exception of those riding stallions who must have attained their 12th birthday (small breeds) or 14th birthday (large breeds) before 1st January in the current year. Correct riding attire must be worn, spurs are not allowed and whips must not exceed 30". Ponies must not exceed the height limits as stipulated by the relevant breed societies. Riders and Owners must be members of their respective Breed Society, NPS, Ponies (UK), The Showing Register, or BSPS.

Judges may only judge one Horse of the Year Show M&M Ridden qualifying competition during the current year and marks must be awarded as follows:

Show/Freedom of Action Maximum 50
Breed Type/Conformation Maximum 50

The highest placed animal (not already qualified) from the first three in the final judging will qualify for Horse of the Year Show 2015, subject to verification of qualification from the Horse of the Year Show Office.

Please note: Ponies that qualify for this Championship at Horse of the Year Show 2015 must hold a valid JMB Full Height or Annual Certificate, a copy of which must be sent to Grandstand Media Ltd at the time of entry to Horse of the Year Show. JMB certificates are not required to enter this qualifier.

Qualifiers:
a) Horse of the Year Show Qualifier 2015 - NPS / Baileys Horse Feeds Mountain & Moorland Ridden Pony of the Year Horse of the Year Show Qualifying Round. Classes 142-149 are qualifiers for Horse of the Year Show, to be held from Wednesday 7th - Sunday 11th October at the NEC Birmingham. The highest placed horse/pony (not already qualified) from the first three in the final
judging will qualify.

b) The 'Torne Valley' Supreme Ridden Mountain & Moorland Championship.
The final to be held at the North of England In Hand and
Mountain & Moorland Show on 12th July 2015, kindly
sponsored by 'Torne Valley Farm & Country Stores' Tickhill,
Doncaster (01302 756000) www.tornevalley.co.uk (Prize Money
at the final 1st £1000, 2nd £400, 3rd £100, 4th £50, 5th £25, 6th
£25, 7th £25, 8th £25, Sashes to the Champion & Reserve, Rosettes to all other prize winners and finalists).

The Champion Open Ridden M&M will qualify from C150. If the
Champion has already qualified then the Reserve Champion will go
forward. Only the Champion or Reserve Champion will Qualify.

c) P(UK) Qualification for the Winter Classic 2016, Supreme Championships 2015 and Equifest 2015 (Ponies U.K. affiliation number 015/W15/7319)

1st, 2nd and 3rd placed ponies from classes 142 to 149, will qualify for the P(UK) Kingsford M&M Ridden Pony Winter Classic 2016 & Supreme Championship 2015. Qualification Tickets will be awarded in the ring, Golden Tickets will be awarded to Winner/Champion in each affiliated section and placing's will be confirmed by results sent in by the show secretary. Competitors in qualifying positions, who are not current members of P(UK) must become a Annual Adult Member before time of entry.

d) The B.S.P.S. CLASSIC SECURITY (UK) LTD
CHALLENGE.The highest placed pony in classes 142 to 149 that
has not qualified for the 2015 Horse of the Year Show, in the
appropriate class, will qualify (provided the animal is registered in
accordance with B.S.P.S. Rules 23 and 28, and ridden by a B.S.P.S. Member). If the highest placed pony has already qualified for the "B.S.P.S. Challenge", the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony. If after qualifying a pony qualifies for the 2015 Horse of the Year Show, it will forfeit it's qualification for the "B.S.P.S. Challenge".

e) B.S.P.S. Black Country Saddles Rider of the Year. The Best Rider in each of the following Open classes at all B.S.P.S. Affiliated Shows (Classes 142 to 149) will be awarded a Best Rider Card and qualify for the final at the Summer Championships Show.

f) TSR Riders Championships - classes 142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147, 148 and 149 are qualifiers for the 2015 TSR Riders Regional Championships. Riders can choose which Regional final they go to - Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, Wales and south West or Scottish. 1st & 2nd Riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.

g) A Special Rosette will be awarded to the highest placed Member
from B.S.P.S. Area 4b in ALL Classes - Eligible competitors must wear a GREEN armband.

h) This is a WPCS performance sire rating show.

i) BSPS Summer Championships
1st, 2nd & 3rd prize winners from classes 142 - 149 to qualify for the BSPS Summer Championships Show provided the pony is owned, registered and ridden in accordance with B.S.P.S Rules.

j) The Hewitt Family/Equifest Open Ridden Mountain & Moorland - The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified in classes142 - 149 will qualify for the Equifest Championships to be held at the East of England Showground on the 12th - 16th August 2015.
