BRINETON COLNE MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND LEAD REIN & FIRST RIDDEN Horse of the Year Show Qualifiers Judges: Performance: Miss A Fowler PORTISHEAD Conformation: Mrs P Clifford NEWMILNS Conditions: Classes 139 to C141 will be judged under the Rules of Horse of the Year Show. 1. Horse of the Year Show Colne Mountain & Moorland Lead Rein Pony of the Year Qualifier 2015 Class 139 is a qualifier for the Colne Mountain & Moorland Lead Rein Pony of the Year, N.E.C., Birmingham, Wednesday 7th - Sunday 11th October. This class is open to Mountain and Moorland Mares and Geldings four years old and over registered in the main body of their respective Stud Books. Ponies not to exceed 122cm (12.0hh) however ponies must not exceed the height limits as stipulated by the relevant breed societies. Riders must have attained their 3rd birthday by the day of competition, but must not have attained their 9th birthday before the 1st January in the current year. The highest placed pony not already qualified from the first three will qualify to compete at Horse of the Year Show 2015. Riders and Owners must be members of their respective Breed Society, NPS, Ponies (UK), The Showing Register or BSPS. 2. Horse of the Year Show Brineton/Kare-Plus Mountain & Moorland First Ridden Pony of the Year Qualifier 2015 Class 140 is a qualifier for the Brineton/Kare-Plus Mountain & Moorland First Ridden Pony of the Year, N.E.C., Birmingham, Wednesday 7th - Sunday 11th October. This class is open to Mountain and Moorland Mares and Geldings four years old and over registered in the main body of their respective Stud Books. Ponies not to exceed 128cm (12.2hh) however ponies must not exceed the height limits as stipulated by the relevant breed societies. Riders must have attained their 3rd by the day of competition and not have attained their 12th birthday before the 1st January in the current year. The highest placed pony not already qualified from the first three will qualify to compete at Horse of the Year Show 2015. Riders and Owners must be members of their respective Breed Society, NPS, Ponies (UK), The Showing Register, or BSPS. 3. Class 139 and 140 to be run under the rules of the Horse of the Year Show. Copies can be obtained from www.hoys.co.uk Judges may only judge one qualifying competition in the current year. Marks to be awarded 50/50. In the event of equality, the pony with the highest Show/Freedom of Action mark will be deemed the winner. Qualification will be verified by the Horse of the Year Show Office. 4. A Special Rosette will be awarded to the highest placed Member from B.S.P.S. Area 4b in ALL Classes - Eligible competitors must wear a GREEN armband. Qualifiers: a) Horse of the Year Show 2015. Classes 139 and 140 are qualifiers for Horse of the Year Show 2015, NEC Birmingham Wednesday 7th - Sunday 11th October. From each class, the highest place pony not already qualified from the first three will qualify to compete at the Horse of the Year Show. N.B. - Ponies that qualify for this Championship at Horse of the Year Show 2015 must hold a valid JMB Full Height or Annual Certificate, a copy of which must be enclosed at the time of entry to Horse of the Year Show. JMB Certificates are not required to enter this Qualifier. b) P(UK) Qualification for the Winter Classic 2016, Supreme Championships 2015 and Equifest 2015 (Ponies U.K. affiliation number 015/W15/7319) From class 139, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd will qualify for the Lobster Pot M&M Lead Rein Winter Classic 2016 & Supreme Championship 2016. Qualification Tickets will be awarded in the ring, Golden Tickets will be awarded to Winner/Champion in each affiliated section and placing's will be confirmed by results sent in by the show secretary. Competitors in qualifying positions, who are not current members of P(UK) must become a Annual Adult Member before time of entry. c) P(UK) Qualification for the Winter Classic 2016, Supreme Championships 2015 and Equifest 2015 (Ponies U.K. affiliation number 015/W15/7319) From class 140, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd will qualify for the Brineton M&M First Ridden Winter Classic 2016 and Supreme Championship 2015. Qualification Tickets will be awarded in the ring, Golden Tickets will be awarded to Winner/Champion in each affiliated section and placing's will be confirmed by results sent in by the show secretary. Competitors in qualifying positions, who are not current members of P(UK) must become a Annual Adult Member before time of entry. d) TSR Riders Championships - classes 139 and 140 are a qualifiers for the 2015 TSR Riders Regional Championships. Riders can choose which Regional final they go to - Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, Wales and south West or Scottish. 1st & 2nd Riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring. e) A Special Rosette will be awarded to the highest placed Member from BSPS Area 4B in ALL classes, eligible competitors must wear a GREEN Armband. f) This is a WPCS performance sire rating show. g) RCH Farriery / Equifest Mountin & Moorland Lead Rein & Natalie Bird / Equifest Mountain & Moorland First Ridden - The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified in classes 139 & 140 will qualify for the Equifest Championships to be held at the East of England Showground on the 12th - 16th August 2015. ENTRY FEES LAS Members Non-Members £35 £41 (These fees include a £11 Horse of the Year Show contribution).
