The Society is affiliated to and classes 19, 20, 21, 23, 26 and 28 will be judged under the 2014 British Show Horse Association rules. 2. BSHA require ALL Owners and Riders in the Hunter Classes to be members of the British Show Horse Association (BSHA), and all horses must be registered with BSHA on the Hunter Register. (NB: Please note for 2014 only, any owners and riders who had previously joined SHB(GB) before 27/01/2014 will need to contact the Grandstand Media office). 3. Entries in classes 19 to 21 may not compete in class 26 and vice versa. 4. For classes 19 to 21, competitors must enter their horses in the appropriate sections, but class 19 will be judged first, and the judges shall have the power to transfer exhibits to classes 20 or 21 if they deem necessary. 5. Qualification will not pass below 3rd place, with the exception of the National Hunter Show. 6. Judges may be asked to restrict riding to those entries selected for final consideration, having due regard to the judging time available. 7. In accordance with the rules of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, all competitors must wear a skull cap or hat and safety harness according to the correct approved BSI or European Standard at all times. Any competitor not adhering to this will be asked to leave the ring/class. 8. Classes 17 and 29 are to be judged under the 2014 Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain rules. S.H.B. (G.B.) require ALL exhibits in Classes 17 and 29 to be registered on their Basic Identity Record or Stud Book. Qualifiers: a) Horse of the Year Show Qualifier 2014. Classes 19, 20, 21, 23, 26 and 28 are qualifiers for the Horse of the Year Show which will take place from Wednesday 8th - Sunday 12th October. Only horses registered on the 2014 BSHA Show Hunter Register are eligible to enter. BSHA Registration numbers must be quoted on entry forms and owners and riders must be members of the BSHA. In Classes 19, 20, 21, 23, 26 and 28, the highest placed unqualified horse in the first three will qualify to enter at the Horse of the Year Show 2014. No Horse lower than third will qualify. b) Classes 19 to 21 and 26 are qualifying events for this years National Hunter Supreme Championship Show (N.H.S.C.S.) and only horses on the current years SHB(GB) Show Hunter Register are eligible to enter. Registration numbers must be quoted on the entry forms and owners and riders must be members of SHB(GB). The three highest placed horses in each class will qualify to enter at the N.H.S.C.S. No horses lowered than third in its class will qualify. c) This Show is a Qualifier for THE BLUE CHIP & IRISH DRAUGHT HORSE SOCIETY (GB) £2,000 CHALLENGE. The highest placed horse (not already qualified) from each of the following classes 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 26, 28 and 29 that is registered or eligible for registration on the Irish Draught or Irish Draught Sport Horse Registers, i.e. with a minimum of 25% proven Irish Draught breeding, will qualify for the Final of the Blue Chip & IDHS (GB) Challenge. Horses need not be registered with the Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) to qualify, but MUST be on the IDHS (GB) registers by the time of the Championship which will be held at the IDHS (GB) Annual Breed Show on 30th - 31st August 2014 at the Lincolnshire Showground, Grange-de-Lings, Lincoln LN2 2NA. NB: A horse may only qualify for the Final once, regardless of the type or number of classes won, placed in or entered. Each Qualifier will receive a card and a £10 voucher from Blue Chip. Qualifiers are required to complete an online form at www.idhsgb.com to inform the IDHS (GB) that they have qualified for the Final. Following submission of the online form, a qualifier's pack will be sent out direct to the qualifier. In the Final, the Champion will be awarded £1,000 prize money, a Trophy and a Blue Chip rug. The Reserve Champion will be awarded £500 and 3rd to 7th will be awarded £100 each. In addition, the highest placed Pure Bred will be awarded a Trophy and £100 and the highest placed 158cm (15.2hh) and under will receive a Trophy and £50. d) The Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) will award Special Incentive Cards to the highest placed Irish Draught Pure Bred or Irish Draught Sport Horse in classes 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 26, 28 and 29. To be eligible, exhibits must be registered with or overstamped by the IDHS (GB) on their Irish Draught Breed Registers or Irish Draught Sport Horse Registers. Registration numbers to be stated on the entry form. e) Class 29 is a qualifier for The BSPS "Ruth Lears"Challenge Novice Working Hunter - The first three to qualify for the 2014 BSPS Summer Championships Show, at Arena UK, Allington, Grantham. f) In Class 25, up to three S.S.A. rosettes are available for the highest placed S.S.A. Members carrying their current Championship Points Card. g) TSR Working Hunter Rider Championships - Class 28 is a qualifier for the TSR Riders Championships. 1st & 2nd Riders qualify & can choose which final either TSR Gala Show 19th & 20th July, Onley EC, Rugby OR Wales and South West Riders final 6th Sept at SWPA Champs Show, Monmouth OR Scottish Riders Final 13th & 14th Sept Grand Slam Show Ingliston EC, Bishopstown.
