Horse of the Year Show Mountain & Moorland Working Hunter Pony Championship Qualifier 2014 The following class is a qualifier for the Mountain & Moorland Working Hunter Pony of the Year Championship, N.E.C., Birmingham, Wednesday 8th - Sunday 12th October 2014. This class is open to Mountain and Moorland stallions, mares and geldings, four years old and over, to be registered in the main body of their respective stud books. Ponies must be within the correct height stipulations for their height section however ponies must not exceed the height limits as stipulated by the relevant breed societies. These classes will be run in accordance with the general rules as set out in this rule book. The highest placed pony not already qualified from the first three will qualify to compete at Horse of the Year Show 2014. Riders and Owners must be members of their respective Breed Society, NPS, Ponies (UK), The Showing Register or BSPS. To be run under the rules of the Horse of the Year Show. Copies can be obtained from www.hoys.co.uk Judges may only judge one qualifying competition in the current year. Marks to be awarded 50/50. In the event of equality the total mark from the Jumping Phase will take precedence, followed by the Individual Show & Manners Mark, and then the Breed Type & Conformation Mark. Qualification will be verified by the Horse of the Year Show Office. Jumping Course Guidelines Mountain & Moorland Working Hunter ponies must jump a 12 fence track. Please note the fence height guidelines shown below which must be enforced for each section. JMB certificates are not required to enter this qualifier. 2. ON THE DAY, declarations to be made to the Ancaster Ring Steward, 45 minutes before the Class and ponies to jump in catalogue order. Qualifiers: a) Horse of the Year Show Qualifier 2014- Classes 152, 153, 154 and 155 are qualifiers for Horse of the Year Show, to be held from Wednesday 8th - Sunday 12th October, 2014 at the NEC Birmingham. The highest placed horse/pony (not already qualified) from the first three in each class will qualify. Qualification will be verified by the Horse of the Year Show office. N.B. Ponies that qualify for this Championship at Horse of the Year Show 2014 must hold a valid JMB Full Height or Annual Certificate, a copy of which must be enclosed at the time of entry to Horse of the Year Show. JMB certificates are not required to enter this qualifier." No Qualification Cards will be awarded in the ring, placings will be confirmed by results sent in by the Show Secretary. d) TSR Working Hunter Pony Riders Championships - The following classes 152, 153, 154 and 155 are qualifiers for the TSR Riders Championships. 1st & 2nd Riders qualify & can choose which final either TSR Gala Show 19th & 20th July, Onley EC, Rugby OR Wales and South West Riders final 6th Sept at SWPA Champs Show, Monmouth OR Scottish Riders Final 13th & 14th Sept Grand Slam Show Ingliston EC, Bishopstown.
