A WRIGHT & SON LAMB CARCASE COMPETITION Judge: Mr G Simpson Heckington, SLEAFORD The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society acknowledges A Wright & Son's kind support of the Lamb Carcase Competition. Judging will take place on Tuesday 19th June 1. Carcases will be housed in a special National Sheep Association refrigerated display unit with limited capacity, exhibitors will therefore be restricted to TWO entries and on a strict date of receipt of entry. 2. Entries must be delivered to A Wright & Son (The Abattoir, Nursery Rd, Riverside Industrial Estate, Boston, Lincolnshire PE21 7PJ. Tel: 01205 368032) on the morning of Monday 18th June 2012. SHEEP must be booked in to arrive between 7 & 8 am. 3. Parentage must be shown on the entry form. 4. If any part of the carcase or liver of a lamb slaughtered should be condemned the entry will be disqualified. 5. All carcases will be bought and paid for by the Society's appointed slaughterers at the agreed market price. Cheques will be forwarded by the Society to exhibitors after the Show. 6. The Society will split the entries into two classes with a mean factor of 20kgs as below (or the class weights will be determined at the discretion of the Stewards, depending on weights of entries forward). Entries with a deadweight in excess of 23kgs may have penalty points deducted at the discretion of the Judge. 7. Marks will be awarded as follows:- Maximum Carcase: Hindquarter: 30 Forequarter: 20 Fat Cover: 25 Judge's discretion (to include colour and texture): 25 ---- TOTAL: 100 Less penalty points, where applicable: 10 ENTRY FEES - Members £6.50 inc.
