Judging of ALL classes will take place on Wednesday 20th June


The general conditions and regulations of the Show also apply to this section.

1. This show is Approved for Scrapie-Monitored herds.

2. This Show is restricted to those goats with current BGS CAE-monitored status and goats from herds that are whole herd negative CAE tested within twelve months prior to the Show. All kids must be from CAE negative tested dams.

3. Goats in-milk and youngstock are required to arrive on the Showground by 6.00 p.m. on Tuesday 19th June. Milkers are to be milked dry in the presence of a Steward by 6.30 p.m. Milking buckets should be on the marked table by 6.30 am and again by 5.45 pm on Wednesday 20th June - the day of the Milking Competition.

4. Goats may not leave before 5 p.m. on Thursday 21st June.

5. Covered accommodation (Marquee) straw and water will be provided.

6. Ear numbers must be recorded on certificates and entry forms.

7. Any goat brought forward for competition must have an earmark or eartag which is legible and corresponds to that on the entry form. Failure may result in disqualification at the discretion of the Judge or Chief Steward

8. A Parade and presentation of special prizes will take place at approx. 10.00 a.m. on Thursday 21st June.
