SHETLAND PONIES IN-HAND

BASSILDON, Essex

Conditions:
1. Entries must be registered in the main body of the Shetland Pony
Stud-Book Society (part breeds are not eligible) and the
Registration Number must be given on the Entry Form.

2. Classes 172 to C178 and SuC137 will be Judged under National
Pony Society Rules and competitors must conform to the
Regulations of their respective Breed Societies.

3. All Brood Mares must be four years old or over and all foals must
be at least three weeks old on the day of the Show and must
accompany their dam into the ring and be led alongside the mare as
much as possible.

4. Stallions and Colts two years old and over must hold a current
Stallion Licence, unless otherwise governed by their individual breed
society.

5. Handlers of Stallions and Colts must have attained their 14th
birthday before 1st January of the current year.

Qualifiers:
a) National Pony Society Mountain & Moorland In Hand
Kilmannan Stud Silver Medal Rosette Championship.
In Class C178, the winner will go forward to the SUPREME IN
HAND CHAMPIONSHIP, SuC137.

b) Ponies (UK) Summer Championships (Ponies U.K. affiliation
number 012/SUM/6604)

1st, 2nd and 3rd placed ponies from classes 172, 174, 175 nd 177 will qualify for the 2011 Glyn Greenwood Memorial Mountain and Moorland In Hand Championship. No qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, placings will be confirmed by results sent in by the show secretary. Competitors in qualifying positions, who are not current members of P(UK) are allowed 14 days in which to become a member and register their ponies in order for the qualification to remain valid.

c) The 'Derby House' Supreme In Hand Championship. Full
