96 The B.S.P.S. Open Intermediate Working Hunter MARE or GELDING, 4 years old or over, exceeding 148cms and not exceeding 158cms. Horse of the Year Show Qualifier 2012
97MARE or GELDING exceeding 143cm but not over 153cm. Rider not to have attained their 20th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Fences minimum 90 cm, maximum 1m 05cm.
98MARE or GELDING exceeding 133cm but not over 143cm. Rider not to have attained their 17th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Fences minimium 85cm, maximum 1 m.
99MARE or GELDING not exceeding 133cm. Rider not to have attained their 14th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Fences minimum 75 cm, maximum 90 cm.
C100Champion Prize - The Kelly Todd Trophy. Ponies forward from classes 97, 98 and 99. Champion qualifies for the B.S.P.S. "David Manning" Champion of Champions.

Conditions
1. This Show is affiliated to the British Show Pony Society (B.S.P.S.
20/12) and all persons entering, competing, showing or otherwise
taking part in B.S.P.S. Classes, whether or not members of the
B.S.P.S. are subject to the Constitution and Rules of the B.S.P.S.
including the disciplinary procedures and shall be deemed to have
consented to the jurisdiction of the B.S.P.S.

2. Owners and riders must be B.S.P.S., NPS or P(UK) Members and the pony
registered with the B.S.P.S., NPS or P(UK) to compete (in Classes 96 to 99)
with qualifications for the Horse of the Year Show.

3. Animals may NOT compete in the 153cms, and Intermediate WH
classes at the same Show in the same section.

4. A Special Rosette will be awarded to the highest placed Member
from B.S.P.S. Area 4b in ALL Classes - Eligible competitors must wear
a GREEN armband.

5. DECLARATIONS to be made, 30 minutes before the class. Jumping
in catalogue order.

Qualifiers:
a) Horse of the Year Show Qualifier 2012. Classes 96 to 99 are
qualifiers for the Horse of the Year Show to be held from 3rd - 7th
October. Only one pony in each class qualifies. The highest placed
(not already qualified) from the first five ponies placed in each class
will qualify.

b) The Blue Riband Pony of The Year.The first and second placed
ponies in Classes 96 to 99 will qualify, provided the pony is owned, registered and ridden by a B.S.P.S. Member.

c) The B.S.P.S. CLASSIC SECURITY (UK) LTD
CHALLENGE.The highest placed pony in classes 106 to 109 that
has not qualified for the 2012 Horse of the Year Show, in the
appropriate class, will qualify (provided the animal is registered in
accordance with B.S.P.S. Rule 23 and ridden by a B.S.P.S. Member). If
the highest placed pony has already qualified for the "B.S.P.S.
Challenge", the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible
pony. If after qualifying a pony qualifies for the 2012 Horse of the
Year Show, it will forfeit it's qualification for the "B.S.P.S. Challenge".

d) B.S.P.S. Black Country Saddles Rider of the Year. The Best Rider in each of the following
Open classes at all B.S.P.S.Affiliated Shows (Classes 96-99) will be
awarded a Best Rider Card and qualify for the final at the Summer
Championships Show.

e) 2012 B.S.P.S. Championships to be held at Arena UK - First and
second prize winners in Classes 97-99 will qualify provided the
animal is registered in accordance with B.S.P.S. Rule 23 and ridden
by a B.S.P.S. member. From Class 96, the first, second and third will
qualify.
