The Society is affiliated to and classes will be judged under the 2012 Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain rules. 2. S.H.B. (G.B.) require ALL exhibits in the Hunter Classes to be registered on their Basic Identity Record or Stud Book and in the case of qualifying classes all owners and riders must be full members of the S.H.B. (G.B.) and all entries must be registered on the S.H.B. (G.B.) 2012 Show Hunter Register and Registration Numbers must be quoted on Entry Forms. Owners/riders/exhibitors who compete unregistered horses will be subject to a fine by SHB (GB) and disqualification of the horse. S.H.B. (G.B.) offer a temporary registration fee of £12 per show which will allow an exhibitor to compete at TWO qualifying shows. If the horse subsequently qualifies full registration will need to be completed before the championship (£12 will be refunded). 3. Where an animal is sold after the entry closing date, it may still be shown under the original entry provided that, prior to the Show, the animal is re-registered with the S.H.B. (G.B.) under the new owner's name. 4. If the Judge considers that an exhibit in Classes 19 or 20 is capable of carrying more than the specified weight they may transfer such exhibit to a higher weight class. 5. Judges may be asked to restrict riding to those entries selected for final consideration, having due regard to the judging time available. Qualifiers: a) Horse of the Year Show Qualifier 2012. Classes 19, 20, 21, 24, 27 and 28 are qualifiers for the Horse of the Year Show which will take place from 3rd - 7th October. Only horses registered on the 2012 Show Hunter Register are eligible to enter. Registration numbers must be quoted on entry forms and owners and riders must be members of the Society. In Classes 19, 20, 21, 24, 27 and 28, the highest placed unqualified horse in the first four will qualify to enter at the Horse of the Year Show 2012. No Horse lower than fourth will qualify. b) Class C22 is a qualifier for the Equifest Supreme Ridden Hunter Championship taking place at the East of England Showground on Saturday 18th August 2012. The Champion Ridden Hunter will qualify. In the event that the Champion has already qualified, the qualification may pass no lower than the Reserve Champion. Full details on the Finals will be sent to all qualified exhibitors by the East of England Agricultural Society. Entries for the Equifest Supreme Ridden Hunter Championship close on Monday 30th July 2012. c) Classes 19 to 21 and 27 are qualifying events for this years National Hunter Supreme Championship Show (N.H.S.C.S.) and only horses on the current years Show Hunter Register are eligible to enter. Registration numbers must be quoted on the entry forms and owners and riders must be members of the Society.The three highest placed horses in each class will qualify to enter at the N.H.S.C.S. No horses lowered than third in its class will qualify. d) This Show is a Qualifier for THE BLUE CHIP & IRISH DRAUGHT HORSE SOCIETY (GB) £2,000 CHALLENGE. The highest placed horse (not already qualified) from each of the following classes 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 27, 28 and 30 that is registered or eligible for registration on the Irish Draught or Irish Draught Sport Horse Registers, i.e. with a minimum of 25% proven Irish Draught breeding, will qualify for the Final of the Blue Chip & IDHS (GB) Challenge. Horses need not be registered with the Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) to qualify, but MUST be on the IDHS (GB) registers by the time of the Championship which will be held at the IDHS (GB) Annual Breed Show (date and venue to be announced). NB: A horse may only qualify for the Final once, regardless of the type or number of classes won, placed in or entered. Each Qualifier will receive a card and a £10 voucher from Blue Chip. Qualifiers are required to complete an online form at www.idhsgb.com to inform the IDHS (GB) that they have qualified for the Final. Following submission of the online form, a qualifier's pack will be sent out direct to the qualifier. In the Final, the Champion will be awarded £1,000 prize money, a Trophy and a Blue Chip rug. The Reserve Champion will be awarded £500 and 3rd to 7th will be awarded £100 each. In addition, the highest placed Pure Bred will be awarded a Trophy and £100 and the highest placed 158cm (15.2hh) and under will receive a Trophy and £50. e) The Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) will award Special Incentive Cards to the highest placed Irish Draught Pure Bred or Irish Draught Sport Horse in classes 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 27, 28 and 30. To be eligible, exhibits must be registered with or overstamped by the IDHS (GB) on their Irish Draught Breed Registers or Irish Draught Sport Horse Registers. Registration numbers to be stated on the entry form.
